How RateMyFaceAI works
RateMyFaceAI turns a front photo and a side profile into a report of 68 facial harmony ratios. Each ratio is measured from landmark points on your face and scored against an ideal range.
- Setup. Sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email. Answer a few questions (your sex and background select the ideal ranges you are compared against), then upload a front photo and a side profile. Photo quality is the biggest single factor in accuracy, so read Taking the right photos first.
- Front landmarks. Landmarks are the points every measurement is calculated from: pupils, eye corners, jaw angles, chin, and so on. The analyzer places them automatically in your browser. You check each one and drag any that sit wrong.
- Side landmarks. The same for the profile: forehead, nose, lips, chin, neck and ear.
- Results. Each ratio shows its value, its ideal range and its score, drawn on your own photo. You get a front, side and overall harmony score on the same scale as every celebrity profile. The Full plan adds the angularity, dimorphism and features pillars. See Understanding your scores.
You can go back to either landmark step from your results at any time. Select the step numbers at the top, or the "Edit your landmark placements" link under each photo. Scores recalculate from wherever the points end up.
The measurements are plain geometry, and the same points always give the same scores. The ideal ranges describe proportional balance, not your worth or your attractiveness. Nothing here is medical advice.
