Nose-wing width measured against cheekbone width from the front. Forward projection against nose length is measured from the side and shown alongside, but it does not feed the score. What the reading means
Nose places a face on the same 0 to 10 spectrum as every other signal in this pillar: 0 is the softest, most feminine shape and 10 the strongest, most masculine shape. There is no ideal band and neither end is better than the other. The reading comes from a set of landmarks, so photo angle, expression and lighting all move it.
The pillar index combines all 10 signals, over whichever of them a face carries a reading for. A signal with no reading drops out instead of counting as a neutral 5, and the signals do not all count equally.
